Membership and Fees
The Club offers three membership types, with the annual membership fee due each September:
Standard Membership applies to members under 18. The annual fee is €50.
Adult Membership applies to members aged 18 and over. The annual fee is €50.
Associate Membership recognises young people who have trained with the Club, achieved
lifesaving qualifications, and wish to remain connected to the wider Poseidon Lifesaving
Club community, even if they no longer train regularly. The annual fee is €10.
Coral Leisure Fees for Rookies and Academy Swimmers:
Fees are charged per term and must be paid before each term begins.
10-week term: €120 per member; €110 per sibling where more than one family member is enrolled.
7-week term: €84 per member; €74 per sibling where more than one family member is enrolled.
To recognise the significant time and expertise coaches contribute to the Club, it was agreed
in 2025 that the Head Coach would not pay Coral Leisure fees for their children, while
Associate Coaches would pay 50% of these fees for their children. This arrangement will be
reviewed annually by the Committee and depends on the Club’s financial position. In
recognition of the time given by Committee members and volunteers, a 10% goodwill
discount is applied to the term fee.
UCD Fees:
UCD training is delivered over three terms. Fees are charged per term and must be paid
before each term begins.
A 10-week UCD training term costs €90 per member, including the Club subsidy.
Payment Details
Payment will only be accepted by credit transfer to the Poseidon Lifesaving Club at PTSB.
