On Friday 13th March 2026, 8 club members travelled to Birmingham for the National Speed Lifesaving Championships. The competition is the largest of it's kind in the UK and Ireland with over 600 entries this year. It took place in Sandwell Aquatic Centre (the venue for the 2022 Commonwealth Games).
