Poseidon Lifesaving Club is committed to providing adequate levels of supervision during all lifesaving sessions. Poseidon Lifesaving Club is committed to ensuring all individuals enlisted to help in a session is suitably qualified for the role and tasks they are being required to undertaken. This is to ensure that a high standard of delivery and care is provided.

Poseidon Lifesaving Club is always committed to providing a minimum of two suitably qualified instructors throughout the session to ensure an adequate level of supervision is provided. This also allows for one instructor to seek help or provide care in the case of an emergency.

This policy also helps to avoid situations of one-to-one contact with young people and, therefore, supports good practice regarding safeguarding.
